Accelerate Personnel are currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated 3.5 Tonne Van Driver for your client to join their team. This role involves the timely and accurate delivery of a wide range of vehicle parts to customers and trade clients across the East Anglian region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries of goods to various locations across East Anglia
- Load and unload goods safely, ensuring all items are handled with care
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling as part of daily duties
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet schedules and deadlines
- Provide a high level of customer service at each delivery point, acting as a professional representative of the company
- Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records
- Carry out basic vehicle checks and ensure the van is kept clean and roadworthy
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience in a similar multi-drop delivery role is preferred
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
- Good knowledge of the East Anglia region (or confident using navigation systems)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
