Accelerant is transforming the specialty insurance industry through technology, data and AI. Our Risk Exchange combines proprietary data, technology and analytics to create a more efficient and scalable insurance ecosystem.
This is an opportunity for a strong Python Engineer with hands-on experience building and working with LLMs. You’ll be responsible for developing, maintaining and improving intelligent systems that form part of Accelerant's technology platform. You’ll work across Python development and LLM/AI engineering, taking solutions from development through to production and ensuring they remain reliable, scalable and effective.
You’ll be involved in:
- Building and maintaining LLM-powered applications and services
- Developing production-grade software using Python
- Integrating and working with LLMs, APIs and AI technologies
- Designing, testing and improving LLM-based solutions
- Taking AI/LLM solutions into production and maintaining them at scale
- Troubleshooting and improving existing systems
- Contributing to technical architecture and engineering decisions
- Working closely with engineers and other technical teams to build intelligent products
- Exploring new AI technologies and identifying opportunities to improve the platform
What We’re Looking For
The two key requirements are:
- Hands-on experience building, maintaining and working with LLMs / LLM-based applications
You’ll also ideally have experience with:
- Deploying and maintaining AI/LLM solutions in production
- LLM APIs, model integration or orchestration
- Cloud technologies
- Software engineering best practices, testing and CI/CD
- Working with data-intensive applications
Data Engineering experience is a bonus, particularly experience with:
- ETL/ELT
