The Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented EMEA Payroll Analyst to join our dynamic team at Accelerant. In this role, you will assist in managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations, and contributing to the accurate and timely processing of employee compensation.
As a foundational member of our growing People team, you’ll spearhead process automation within Rippling, maintain our employee data source of truth, and support all employee lifecycle functions.
Responsibilities:
- Support the payroll function by processing payroll data and ensuring accuracy in employee records with Rippling and EY.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and documentation for audits.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with People to ensure accurate employee classifications and pay rates.
- Participate in payroll reconciliations and assist in troubleshooting discrepancies.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor\’s degree in CIPP, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in payroll processing or related administrative roles.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with payroll software and HRIS systems.
- Good understanding of payroll regulations and tax laws particularly in the UK, Ireland and some EU countries.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with payroll processing software in particular Rippling and EY.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis.
