Objective

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a field-based scientific expert within the Medical Affairs and education team, responsible for engaging healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders (KOLs) through non‑promotional scientific exchange. This role focuses on building strong external relationships, supporting the understanding of clinical data, and contributing insights from the field to inform medical and organizational strategies. The MSL plays a critical role in driving scientific engagement, supporting education, and representing the company across regional markets.

Main Responsibilities

  • Engage with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders (KOLs) through regular field visits, scientific discussions, and educational interactions.
  • Represent the company at regional and international congresses, conferences, and scientific meetings.
  • Deliver scientific and medical education to surgeons and healthcare professionals, both in‑person and virtually.
  • Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with KOLs and clinical experts.
  • Gather and communicate insights from the field to support Medical Affairs strategy and identify clinical opportunities.
  • Provide accurate, evidence‑based responses to scientific and medical inquiries.
  • Support the development of scientific materials and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to publications, abstracts, and scientific communications.
  • Support Clinical and Regulatory teams by providing scientific and clinical input when needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical, Regulatory, Commercial, and Medical Education teams.

Job Requirements

  • MD, PharmD, PhD or higher in a scientific or healthcare-related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Medical Affairs, MSL, or related roles within medical devices or healthcare.
  • Experience in breast aesthetics, reconstructive, or cosmetic procedures preferred.
  • Strong scientific communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders.
  • High level of autonomy and ability to work in a field-based environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 70% across Europe).
  • Additional local languages are desirable.
