The Part‑Time Service Manager will oversee day‑to‑day operations across a small supported‑living service, ensuring safe, compliant, and high‑quality support. You will work closely with staff, families, and professionals to maintain excellent standards and deliver positive outcomes for the people we support.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and supporting a team of Support Workers and Senior Support Workers
- Ensuring compliance with CQC, safeguarding, MCA, and organisational policies
- Overseeing rota planning, incident management, and quality assurance
- Completing audits, support plan reviews, and risk assessments
- Supporting staff development, supervision, and reflective practice
- Building strong relationships with commissioners, social workers, and families
- Promoting a positive, person‑centred culture across the service
About You
We are looking for someone who is confident, organised, and passionate about delivering excellent care.
Essential
- Experience in supported living, learning disability, autism, or similar services
- Strong understanding of CQC requirements and safeguarding
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Competent in digital systems, record‑keeping, and compliance processes
Desirable
- Level 3 or 5 Health & Social Care qualification (or working towards)
- Experience managing behaviours of concern
- Experience with digital care management systems
