We’re currently looking for a Business Development Manager on a full-time, 12 month fixed-term basis. This position sits within the UK Apprenticeships Relationships Team. We are flexible on the location of this role as it is a remote working role, with travel around the UK as required. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to contribute to the development of engagement plans for client partnerships, to deliver against agreed KPIs linked to ACCA Apprenticeships.
The Job
- Identifying and progressing opportunities to grow ACCA’s Apprenticeship numbers through our existing Employer relationships.
- Identifying and progressing opportunities to grow ACCA’s Apprenticeship numbers through new Employer relationships.
- Supporting businesses with relevant ACCA Apprenticeships changes to develop engagement and improve performance.
- Planning and actively managing multi-level relationships for existing and potential businesses.
- Developing and managing strong relationships with leading partners in order to build and sustain ACCA’s Apprenticeships.
- Working in partnership with our existing learning provider network to grow their ACCA apprenticeships.
- Using agreed criteria, identifying and proposing potential new learning providers to deliver ACCA Apprenticeships based on an understanding of potential contribution.
- Working with all Learning Partners to ensure readiness for all Apprenticeships changes and support a smooth journey for their Apprentices using ACCA qualifications.
- Contributing to and following up all relevant marketing campaigns to individuals and Employers to convert interest into successful Apprenticeship programmes.
- Supporting all pathways into Apprenticeships to support the growth of Apprenticeships.
The Person
- Understands the Education marketplace, especially around Apprenticeships, business sector developments, competitor activities and ACCA’s product and service offering.
- Can report regularly on progress through the appropriate reporting mechanisms.
- Actively supports the wider work of the local market and contributes to the improvement of local procedures and systems.
- Has demonstrable experience in business development and business-to-business relationship management.
- Has strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term, high quality, trusted relationships up to and including board level, through networking and prospecting with strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Is highly motivated, proactive, enthusiastic and happy to work towards KPIs.
