We’re currently looking for a PA, on a full time, permanent basis.
This position involves working across the People & Transformation Directorate, based from our Glasgow office, with hybrid / remote working available.
The job
Reporting to the Director, Transformation, on a day-to-day basis, you’ll be involved in the following:
- Providing a range of PA activities to support the People & Transformation Directorate Leadership Team including, but not limited to; diary management, co-ordination of meeting arrangements and active prioritisation of inboxes to ensure key activities are actioned timeously
- Preparing documentation for the Directorate Leadership Team including, drafting briefings, presentations, correspondence and collation of reports and papers, liaising with teams across ACCA to source content as required
- Co-ordinating meetings, including preparing agendas, booking meeting rooms, collating papers, creating, distributing and updating action trackers and meeting minutes
- Organising Directorate wide events and ad-hoc internal and external events as appropriate
- Providing internal communications and teams channels support across the Directorate, giving guidance to the Directorate Leadership Team on how to best utilise the range of digital communication channels available.
The person
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has demonstrable experience of working within a PA role
- Has excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to handle large volumes of work in a busy and demanding environment
- Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail
- Has excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Has proficient IT skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, M365 and Teams
- Is a proactive team player with the ability to work flexibly and show initiative
- Has strong interpersonal skills with the credibility and confidence to deal with people at all levels both internal and external to the organisation
- Demonstrates a high level of discretion, diplomacy and judgement to manage confidential and sensitive material.
