- Description
- Prepare and review personal tax and Making Tax Digital (MTD) returns with minimal supervision.
- Manage a portfolio of clients (circa 225), acting as their primary point of contact and ensuring excellent client service.
- Prepare and submit P11Ds, benefits-in-kind calculations, and employer Class 1A NICs, providing guidance on compliance requirements.
- Produce accurate tax computations, including income tax, capital gains tax, and other personal tax matters.
- Support, review, and mentor junior team members, providing technical guidance and development opportunities.
- Handle HMRC enquiries, correspondence, disclosures, and more complex tax matters, including inheritance tax, capital gains, and non-resident issues.
- Identify tax planning opportunities, manage client deadlines, and ensure compliance with current UK tax legislation and best practice.
- Profile
- 4+ years experience working in personal tax in an accountancy practice setting
- ATT/CTA studier or qualified
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients
- Experience of complex compliance and starting to assist clients with advisory projects

- Competitive salary between £40,000 and £50,000, dependent on the level of experience
