Your Impact and Responsibilities as a Senior Manager
Expert advisory: provide specialist advice to clients on developing and implementing robust tax governance frameworks, including identifying and mitigating global tax risks, designing and embedding sustainable tax control frameworks to meet international tax authority requirements, advising on tax risk implications within broader tax transformation and technology projects, ensuring compliance with SAO and CCO regulations, preparing for and managing HMRC business risk reviews, assisting with the development, documentation, and publication of clients\â tax strategies, guiding clients through global tax transparency and sustainability reporting requirements, and liaising effectively with HMRC on tax governanceârelated matters.
Business development: proactively seek out and pursue new opportunities, actively participating in business development activities alongside directors and partners, including managing proposals, delivering compelling tender documents, and presenting at client pitches.
Team leadership & development: take ownership of coaching, developing, and inspiring more junior members, fostering their technical skills and accelerating their career growth within KPMG.
Operational and strategic contribution: manage aspects of the team\âs operations and performance, including strategic resourcing, and contribute to the broader development and expansion of the firm\âs tax governance offering.
