Working in our successful CTAC department will give you the opportunity to develop relationships with clients as you help with advisory work and manage the compliance process.The RoleWe are currently looking to recruit a Senior Manager to be based out of our CTAC team in CSQ although we work as a wider London region team made up of 5 other offices. The successful candidate will be able to build strong relationships, develop junior staff, provide excellent client service and identify business development opportunities. Be part of it.OverviewThis exciting role is within our CTAC team based in our CSQ office. We are looking for a talented individual at Senior Manager level to support our continued rapid growth. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic and challenging working environment, supported by a strong and ambitious leadership team. You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients across UK listed, PE backed, inbound and family owned groups, and take on a variety of advisory projects, including tax structuring, domestic tax advice and international advice. Previous experience of working with multinationals is helpful, but strong technical skills, drive and curiosity are essential.Role And Responsibilities Working as a key member of the team to provide International and Complex UK Tax Advisory services to support our clients in achieving their commercial objectives, as well as managing the compliance process.Managing the successful delivery of technically excellent advice including: tax structuring, refinancing, legal structure optimisation, pre/post transaction reorganisations, tax authority enquiries, compliance work and providing technical support to the wider corporate tax teamLiaising with specialists in other departments and overseas offices to oversee their input into tax advisory projectsCoaching and developing more junior members of the teamManaging aspects of the team\’s operations and performance, including resourcingDeveloping and maintaining strong relationships with clients and understanding of their business in order to create opportunities to help with the provision of tax and other servicesManaging proposals for new work, including delivering tender documents, presenting at client pitches and identifying solutions for client issuesSeeking out and pursuing opportunities with targets and actively participating and supporting Directors and Partners in business development activitiesBeing a role model for KPMG\’s valuesQualifications, Experience And Skills ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA or equivalent qualified with strong corporate tax and accounting knowledgeAbility to develop, coach and lead staff, as well as manage stakeholdersStrong interpersonal skills are required in addition to strong oral and written communication skillsWell-developed analytical skills and a commercial approach to resolving issues and providing advicePro-active in identifying and progressing business opportunities for the long-term benefit of both KPMG and the clientAbility to multi-task – to manage a wide range of projects and relationshipsHigh level of drive and enthusiasm with a positive attitudeDedication to continuously develop technical knowledgeInquisitive with attention to detailA final word from us… Everybody likes to say they\’re different… but we really think we are.We\’re hugely proud of what we\’ve managed to achieve so far, but we\’re only just getting started.
