Job DescriptionAs an Audit Assistant Manager within our Public Sector Audit service line, you will manage a large portfolio of audit clients, using your expertise in UK GAAP/FRS102 and audit software to deliver high‐quality services to local government (including police and fire) and NHS bodies.

A look into the role
Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102
Extensive experience of using audit software and Microsoft packages
Genuine interest in clients with the ability to confidently discuss business challenges and needs
Interest in maintaining and developing technical knowledge to facilitate and lead valuable discussions with clients
Knowing you\’re right for us
Professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA) with post‐qualification experience
Confidence managing a large portfolio of audit clients
Experience managing audits of public‐sector bodies and dealing with complex technical matters
Project management experience
Experience of IFRS and auditing listed companies would be beneficial
Extensive experience of using audit software and Microsoft packages
