Description

Key responsibilities of the Audit Assistant Manager:

  • Leading audit assignments for a varied client portfolio.
  • Managing fieldwork and reviewing audit files.
  • Liaising directly with clients and building strong working relationships.
  • Supervising, mentoring and developing junior team members.
  • Assisting with audit planning, budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Identifying opportunities to add value and improve client service.
  • Supporting Managers and Partners with business development initiatives where appropriate.

Profile

The Ideal Audit Assistant Manager Will Have

  • ACA or ACCA qualification (or be finalist level with relevant experience).
  • A strong background within audit gained in an accountancy practice environment.
  • Experience leading audits and supervising junior staff.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments.
  • A proactive approach and desire to progress within a growing firm.
