Job Description
Our Pensions team audits some of the biggest pension schemes in the UK. This role offers experience working with a variety of large multi‑national clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Making quality second nature. The work you will do has a major impact on our clients and our firm. We pride ourselves on high‑level standards.
- Own your own work. Lead onsite audit teams, prepare and review financial statements, and keep management updated on progress.
- Be part of a team. Work with a dynamic, national pensions audit team and support junior members.
- Take responsibility. Act as a trusted business adviser to our clients, overseeing all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion.
- Build your brand. Work closely with your people manager to develop, collaborate and communicate effectively.
Minimum Criteria
- Professional qualification: ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA.
- Experience of leading audits (as in‑charge) of varying sizes across diverse pension scheme clients.
Skills to Set You Apart
- Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102.
- Excellent knowledge of the Pension SoRP.
- Extensive experience using audit software and Microsoft packages.
- Ability to confidently discuss business challenges and needs with clients.
- Interest in maintaining and developing technical knowledge to lead valuable discussions.
