You'll be joining a dynamic, fast-moving organisation where finance plays a pivotal role in driving growth. Reporting to the Head of Finance Operations, you'll lead a skilled team and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver real change. From introducing process improvements and automation to embedding procurement best practice across the business, your expertise will be at the heart of our financial performance and customer outcomes.

Are you an experienced P2P leader ready to take the reins of a high-performing payments function and make a real impact? We're looking for a commercially savvy, strategic, and process-driven Purchase to Pay Manager to lead our payments function and shape the future of procurement and payables across a large and growing business.

This is an opportunity to own end-to-end P2P operations - from procurement and contract oversight to vendor management, accounts payable, and customer refunds - in a role that combines day-to-day operational leadership with strategic transformation.

In this role, you'll oversee the day-to-day running and future development of the Payments, Claims Finance and Customer Refunds teams - ensuring accuracy, control, and value for money across all procurement and payments activities.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Leading and developing the P2P team, supporting continuous improvement and driving team performance
  • Overseeing all procurement and AP activity, ensuring accurate and timely payments, invoice coding and compliance with reporting dimensions
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams to ensure service levels, value, and compliance
  • Using data and insights to spot trends, drive savings, and highlight opportunities for procurement efficiencies
  • Managing risk by keeping contract documentation, vendor data and reconciliations accurate and up to date
  • Designing and rolling out scalable processes and automation that support future growth
  • Delivering accurate KPIs and management information, and driving improvement actions
  • Being the subject matter expert on all P2P processes, policies and controls
  • Leading on procurement initiatives such as RFIs, RFQs, and tender processes
  • Supporting training, coaching, and regular 1:1s to help your team thrive

Profile Skills:

You'll be a natural leader who brings strong people management skills alongside deep functional expertise in the P2P space. We're looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience managing a full Purchase to Pay function, including procurement, AP, vendor management and team leadership
  • A strong understanding of financial controls, process improvement, and systems automation
  • Confident communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • A proactive mindset - always looking for better ways of working and able to bring people on the journey
  • Solid commercial awareness, with the ability to analyse spend and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and stakeholders
