We are seeking a Finance Manager, for Sedgebrook Hall, part of The Venues Collection.
Sedgebrook Hall Hotel is a dedicated conference and events led hotel set in a peaceful location on the outskirts of Northampton, within easy access to key road, and rail networks.
Ideally suited to Training courses, Conferencing, Weddings, Events and a range of leisure facilities also attracting individual leisure guests, our quiet, suburban location provides delegates with an environment conducive to all needs.
Set in a Victorian country house, this premium conference hotel with annexe rooms is 4.3 miles from Althorp House and 6.4 miles from Coton Manor Gardens.
With 22 meeting rooms and 103 bedrooms, with our restaurant serving upwards of 150 guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner, we also have an onsite leisure club
Sedgebrook Hall offers a flexible and adaptable approach to our client’s business needs, in rooms that can accommodate up to 200 delegates or as few as 4, it is not surprising that Sedgebrook Hall is recognised as a fine venue to host training and conferencing events.

- Cluster Financial Controller/Site General Manager
- Specific Responsibilities
- To co-ordinate with departmental HOD’s ensuring that new standards / control procedures are correctly met in line with Profit Protection audit.
- To control and issue Purchase Orders, and record in accordance with Company Policy.
- To support the CFC with the management of team member timesheets.
- To accurately record daily sales and balance the banking of receipts
- To record weekly stocktake counts and process into SAP
- To monitor the departmental inbox and action emails from suppliers/customers as appropriate
- To ensure accuracy of Sales ledger invoices and that they are sent to customers in a timely manner
- To process approved supplier invoices
- To support the CFC in the accurate reporting of monthly management accounts
- To support the CFC in the accurate creation and review of Weekly Forecast reporting
- To comply with any reasonable request from the Management team.
- Key Skills
- Keen attention to detail and consistently high standard of work
- Ability to problem solve and identify reasons for discrepancies
- Good communication and ability to liaise with other team members at all levels
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Ability to work on their own as well as part of a team
