In Transaction Services, you will have the opportunity to support a range of clients by providing due diligence services to support them through events such as acquisitions, sale processes and capital markets transactions. We help to deliver successful transaction outcomes through our data-driven insights and commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

A Director/Associate Director is required to independently, and with the support of other Associate Directors, Directors and Partners, develop and grow the Transaction Services business within Corporate Finance, as well as develop team members. You will have a good understanding of, and experience in, the field of financial due diligence for corporate or strategic buyers, private equity or financial buyers and vendors and/or reporting accountant's work. You will also have developed sector knowledge.

You will be someone who is both comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO's partners to help businesses effectively. You will be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with.

Qualifications
  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or overseas equivalent), or relevant work experience.
  • Experience of working within a corporate finance department.
  • Previous management experience.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, in particular Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • For those involved in Capital Markets transactions, a thorough knowledge of the relevant legislation.
