Role Description: As a Finance Manager in this complex, multi-entity organisation, you will lead monthly close, shape reporting quality and act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders across the business. Taking ownership of management accounts production for your area, you will set the timetable, oversee accurate transaction recording and ensure accurate delivery of high-quality P&L and Balance Sheet reporting with clear, commercial commentary. You will also get involved in the audit process ensuring consistency, control and ensuring there are no surprises. Just as important as the technical side is your leadership; you will manage a team of 3 with varied experience levels, building capability and consistency through coaching and mentoring.
Profile: Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA). This is an ideal role if you are a 2nd time mover from practice and you have been in a similar role or if you have years of experience in industry. Experience leading monthly management accounts for multiple business units. Proven people leadership and line-management experience. Track record of driving process improvement and transformation. SAP experience is ideal but not essential.
