We're recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a well-established and growing business based in South Manchester. You'll be responsible for managing the Credit Control processes, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances.
Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with commercial colleagues and internal and external customers.
- Ensure timely collection of customer payments and manage outstanding debts.
- Handle internal and customer queries related to payments and escalations.
- Drive continuous improvement while maintaining strong internal controls and high customer service standards.
- Maintain accurate and tidy ledgers, including allocation of credit balances.
- Run and review daily financial and credit control reports.
- Download and process daily bank statements across multiple banks and currencies.
- Manage a portfolio of accounts, posting daily cash and supporting team workload priorities.
The Successful Credit Controller Will Have
- Proven experience in Credit Control.
- Confident user of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication skills with excellent organisational ability.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
