We're recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a well-established and growing business based in South Manchester. You'll be responsible for managing the Credit Control processes, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with commercial colleagues and internal and external customers.
  • Ensure timely collection of customer payments and manage outstanding debts.
  • Handle internal and customer queries related to payments and escalations.
  • Drive continuous improvement while maintaining strong internal controls and high customer service standards.
  • Maintain accurate and tidy ledgers, including allocation of credit balances.
  • Run and review daily financial and credit control reports.
  • Download and process daily bank statements across multiple banks and currencies.
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts, posting daily cash and supporting team workload priorities.

The Successful Credit Controller Will Have

  • Proven experience in Credit Control.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills with excellent organisational ability.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled in managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong time management skills.
