The firm is a general practice accounting firm located in Bexhill, focusing mainly on private client work with occasional business client advisory.
This role requires working closely with partners and the team on tax projects and general tax matters. The successful candidate will assist in reviewing and problem‑solving complex tax applications, providing solutions to clients. The role offers training where needed.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with partners and team on tax projects.
- Review and solve complex tax issues and provide answers to clients.
- Train and review work of junior staff.
- Prepare tax compliance documents such as self‑assessment, IHT, CGT returns.
- Provide advice on business clients when required, although focus remains on private clients.
- ATT qualified or CTA qualified.
- Motivated and adaptable to remote working.
- Confident written communication of tax planning, rules and implications detail to clients.
- Experience with Lloyds underwriters, trusts, high net‑worth private clients is welcomed.
- Annual salary in the range of £42,000 – £55,000.
