A leading and successful accountancy practice based in Bristol is searching for a Personal Tax Assistant Manager to join their team as a key addition. The role focuses on overseeing the delivery of a quality compliance service to individuals and trust clients, while also engaging in tax planning and project work. Based in Bristol, the firm is undergoing ongoing positive growth and acts for private clients, HNWIs, trusts, directors and other clients. In addition to a quality compliance service, the firm focuses on wider advisory and tax planning.
As Personal Tax Assistant Manager you will manage a wide ranging portfolio of personal tax cases and lead a team, reviewing their work and supporting development. Your portfolio will include directors of corporate and OMB limited companies, HNWIs, property related clients, and around twenty trust clients. You will advise on capital tax planning, inheritance tax and trusts, property tax projects, and other personal tax advisory work.
Profile – you will be either CTA and/or ATT/ACA/ACCA qualified and have developed a personal tax career within an accountancy practice or a specialist tax firm. Experience can be drawn from Top‐Tier, Top‐Ten, 50, or regional independent firms, or specialist firms, with a focus on personal tax compliance and/or planning.
