A Not for Profit Senior Tax Manager is required to lead, manage and develop a dynamic tax team in the Professional Services industry. This role is based in Gatwick and will require exceptional management skills and comprehensive knowledge of tax law. The company is a large organisation in the professional services industry, renowned for its exceptional work ethic and commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and develop the tax team.
- Provide expert advice on tax matters to clients.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement strategic tax planning for clients.
- Provide training and support to team members.
- Oversee and manage tax audits.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax law and regulations.
Qualifications
- An in depth, up to date, knowledge of taxation with specialist knowledge and the ability to deal with complex tax issues.
- Experience of dealing with all matters relating to the management of a portfolio of clients.
- Experience of managing a portfolio of clients including control of client take on and engagement, billings, and identification of opportunities to improve recoveries, together with cash collection.
- Ability to provide Tax compliance and advisory services to a wide range of clients using resource from a shared service team or via technology tools.
- An understanding of potential risks to the Firm in relation to the Firm's quality control procedures.
- Experience of leading complex projects.
- Experience of working with Not for Profit organisations would be an advantage but is not a requirement provided you are enthusiastic about working in the sector and keen to learn more.
- CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent.
