ACCA Careers is recruiting for a permanent Management Accountant at a client based in Perth.
Salary up to £45,000, 36 days annual leave, and hybrid working (1 day a week from home) with early finish on a Friday. Potential for part time with flexible days and start/finish times.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in the delivery of monthly management accounts, cashflow forecasting, VAT submissions, support ongoing business initiatives, finance projects, and supervise a busy transactional finance team.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation of monthly management accounts including variance analysis
- Weekly cashflow forecasting
- Weekly KPI reporting
- Manage VAT returns
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Oversee daily accounting operations across payroll, purchase ledger and income processing
- Support the Head of Finance with ongoing projects and process improvements
- Staff mentoring including training and support
Qualified, Part‐Qualified or qualified by experience accountant with strong experience preparing management accounts. Experience in staff supervision or mentoring is desirable but not essential. Must be able to manage priorities and achieve reporting deadlines. Experience using Sage software would be advantageous. Confident accountant with excellent communication skills and keen eye for detail.
