About the Role

We’re seeking a Location Accountant to business partner with the General Manager and Heads of Department at Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Ground. This high-profile role will see you working closely with key stakeholders, ensuring strong financial controls, commercial decision-making, and process improvements that drive business success.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Commercial Support – Partnering with the GM and HODs to support financial decision-making, manage risks, and drive budgeted sales, PBIT, and margin.
  • Financial Analysis – Providing proactive insights using E15 Insights dashboards on sales, costs, and labour efficiency.
  • Financial Control – Overseeing processes like invoicing, cash reporting, credit card reconciliations, and budget planning.
  • Performance Monitoring – Tracking key metrics (GP%, Labour to Sales ratio, unit margin %) and providing monthly financial reviews.
  • Strategic Influence – Attending client finance meetings, supporting future planning, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Relationship Management – Collaborating effectively across finance and operational teams, while also mentoring finance apprentices.

What We’re Looking For

  • Part-qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with solid management accounting experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with non-finance professionals, translating complex data into clear insights.
  • Commercial acumen – balancing competing deadlines, driving financial efficiency, and ensuring business profitability.
  • Experience with financial systems such as SAP, E15 / Power BI, and Excel Macros/VBA (desirable).
  • Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing priorities.
