Michael Page are actively working with a notable business in North Leeds, who are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The client is seeking a proactive profile with a strong skillset in month end management accounts and a desire to progress in a commercial role. This is an opportunity for ACCA, CIMA studiers who are on the way to finishing their qualifications and looking to take the next step in their career.
Responsibilities
- Processing of financial transactions in an accurate and timely manner.
- Reconciliation of intercompany trading accounts.
- Analysing monthly financial information.
- Assist in preparation of balance sheets and supporting schedules.
- Responsible for specific month end accruals and journal postings.
- Support in year-end statutory audit and SOx audit.
- Working on ad-hoc requests and admin as required.
- Continuous improvement - always be alert to opportunities for process efficiencies, automation and simplification.
Profile
- Part Qualified in ACCA, CIMA, ACA
- Experience in a similar Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant, or Practice Accounting role
- Key attention to detail
- Love working in a fast paced environment
- Strong communication skills

Job Offer
