Interim Senior Cost Accountant

Job Title: Interim Senior Cost Accountant Join ACCA Careers as an Interim Senior Cost Accountant . Support financial activities including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing, and collaborate on cost reviews and process improvements. Client Details Leading global aerospace company based in Birmingham. Key Responsibilities Drive reliable and standard costing within the plant, including daily updates. Execute annual cost roll for materials, labor, and overhead. Support new product development cost estimates and analysis. Improve overall accuracy of product costing through activities and analysis. Partner with ongoing cost reviews and support closing activities. Complete monthly account reconciliations and financial performance analysis. Monitor and improve processes and controls related to financial transactions. Collaborate with non-finance teams to drive cost improvements. Assist in annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting. Provide meaningful business analysis. Candidate Profile ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with other office programs. Strong analytical skills, experience with large data sets is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional manufacturing environment. Job Offer £350 – £400 per day.
