The Head of FP&A will be accountable for the management of all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for the Private Equity backed organisation.

Description
- Manage all financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, and financial analysis for the group – daily, weekly, monthly, and annual processes.
- Own overall the management and control of financial data and MI across the group.
- Manage all budgetary and forecasting processes, including process calendarisation, close liaison with commercial and operational management.
- Develop financial models to efficiently present information from financial accounts, performance analyses, trends, and key performance indicators along with intelligent commentary and direction where possible.
- Work alongside the financial accounting team to extract relevant data and business information to develop Board Information for the CFO, along with a monthly draft Board Pack of financial information, other relevant operational information.
- Manage and develop a small proactive business analyst team that is agile and forward-thinking, to service the needs of the group through creative and insightful analysis, commercial acumen, and collaborative assessment of business issues.
- Work closely with operational and commercial management on ad hoc projects, business case development, what-if scenarios, and all analytical support requirements.
- Actively seek opportunities to enhance efficiency and financial control across all business.
- Be prepared to make presentations of financial information to colleagues, operational and senior management, and possibly board members.
- Liaise with the CFO on all matters.
Profile
- Qualified senior professional with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior FP&A position.
- Business Partner experience with commercial/operational reporting to senior management.
- Experience working alongside private equity.
- Chartered Accounting Qualification (such as ACCA, ACA, CIPFA, CIMA).
- Problem Solving & Innovation.
Personal Skills
- Expert in complex Excel modelling.
- Highly intelligent, driven and articulate individual with the ability to communicate clearly to senior leadership team as well as at all levels to other stakeholders.
