We are seeking a meticulous Accounts Assistant to support our Accounting & Finance department. This temporary role, based in Hastings, requires a detail-oriented individual to manage financial tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports.
- Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions accurately and promptly.
- Support the reconciliation of accounts and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Assist with budget monitoring and reporting within the department.
- Provide administrative support to the Accounting & Finance team as required.
- Respond to internal and external financial queries in a timely manner.
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth operation of financial processes.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
- AAT or similar.
- Knowledge of financial systems and accounting procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
- Good communication skills to liaise with colleagues and external contacts.
