Our client is a well established accountancy practice based close to Guildford. They are a close knit team and are looking to add an experienced and qualified Accounts Senior to their ranks.
Description
- Prepare financial statements and statutory accounts for clients.
- Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring deadlines are met and queries are resolved.
- Support tax team with basic tax compliance.
- Support clients with bookkeeping and VAT returns as needed.
- Monitor and review the work of junior team members, offering guidance and support.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact for financial queries.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations.
A Successful Accounts Senior Should Have
- A professional qualification in accounting (ACA, ACCA).
- 2-5 years post qualified experience.
- From a small-medium sized accountancy practice background.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and financial reporting standards.
- Experience in preparing accounts and managing client relationships.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines effectively.
Job Offer
- Salary ranging from £50,000 to £60,000, dependent on the level of experience.
