This is an exciting opportunity for a Group Financial Controller to lead the financial operations within the manufacturing sector. The role requires a strategic thinker who can oversee management accounts, financial reporting, controls, and drive process improvements across the business.
Our client is a leading and well-established organisation within the manufacturing industry, known for their commitment to continuous improvement and delivering high-quality products.
Responsibilities:- Overseeing all financial control, reporting, and cash management for the Group.
- Ensuring timely delivery of all financial reports and management information packs.
- Maintaining accurate financial data through effective account reconciliation.
- Managing credit control, invoicing, insurance processes, and external audits.
- Preparing Group financial statements and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Leading a small finance team.
- Supporting the Group CFO with financial strategy, capital raising, and key banking/supplier relationships.
A Successful Group Financial Controller should have:
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with post-qualification experience.
- The ability to manage periods of change/transformation successfully.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a finance team effectively.
