Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Have experience of working in a similar role
• Be responsible for aspects of the school including: Finance and Budgeting, Facilities, Health & Safety
• Be responsible for financial monitoring and statutory returns from the school to the local authority
• Work in partnership with senior leaders and report to, and advise, the Governing Body
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills
• Have an in-depth knowledge of Schools MIS systems including SIMS and Access
• Report to the LA using CFR reporting termly
• Be friendly, flexible, professional, and hardworking

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of school finance, budgeting, facilities, and health & safety
• Financial monitoring and statutory returns experience
• Ability to work with senior leaders and advise the Governing Body
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• In-depth knowledge of School MIS systems, including SIMS and Access
• Experience with CFR reporting
