Job Title: Finance Analyst

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Finance Analyst to join our Accounting & Finance Department within the Transport & Distribution industry. The ideal candidate will assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting while ensuring compliance with financial laws and guidelines.

Company Overview

The organization is a large-sized entity operating in the Transport & Distribution sector, known for delivering top-tier service and maintaining a robust industry reputation.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead the budgeting process in collaboration with Business Analysts and operational teams to develop accurate financial plans.
  2. Oversee and approve weekly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and partnership review with the Finance Business Partner.
  3. Challenge performance metrics and enhance profitability by analyzing KPIs and working with Account Directors and site teams.
  4. Manage client-facing reporting, including KPI dashboards and performance packs for review meetings.
  5. Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  6. Ensure accurate billing processes and timely invoicing across the portfolio.
  7. Contribute to contract renewals through financial modeling and commercial presentations.
