A growing firm of chartered accountants based in Exmouth is searching for an Accounts Assistant Manager to join their team with excellent career development prospects on offer and opportunity to carve an influential role within this highly successful and forward moving firm of accountants.
Client Details: A leading firm of chartered accountants with an excellent reputation and standing across Devon and further afield. The firm is of a size large enough to service clients right across the spectrum in size, across wide ranging sectors, industries and turnovers up to and well in excess of the audit threshold in turnover, whilst also offering a supportive environment where you will have opportunity to work closely with partners and progress technically.
The office acts for clients across varied industry sole trader, partnerships and limited companies up into the £millions of turnover, with additional clients well in excess of the audit threshold in turnovers.
Responsibilities:
- Join the firm’s Exmouth office in an Accounts Assistant Manager role focused on the management and delivery of accounts and associated services to a portfolio of mixed industry sole traders, partnerships and limited company SMEs, OMBs and corporate clients typically into the £ millions in turnover.
- Carve a key, influential role by taking on increasing responsibility for managing teams and individuals to deliver this work, along with providing coaching and support to junior staff.
- Contribute to the firm’s ongoing success and development and pursue career progression within the firm’s framework.
Profile:
You will be ACA/ACCA qualified, with a career background in audit, accounts, tax and service delivery to wide-ranging sole traders, partnerships and limited company clients, developed within an accountancy practice environment of any size. You will have progressed at the Senior or Accounts Assistant Manager level and are looking to move into a more managerial career path with a clear development route. You may be one to two years post qualified and seeking a move with better career prospects within a growing, highly successful chartered firm.
