A growing accountancy practice based in Bristol is looking for a Senior Accountant / Client Manager to join their team. This role involves hands-on delivery, review and management of accounts, tax and wider all-around service provision, as well as developing client relationships and working closely with management and the director team as a key right-hand support.
Client Details: Based in Bristol with on-site parking. The practice serves a wide range of clients across varying industries, including OMBs, SMEs, corporate limited companies, sole traders and partnerships. Software used includes Iris, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver year-end accounts and tax preparation, compliance and related services for sole traders, partnerships and limited company OMBs and SMEs.
- Manage full delivery of services, including review and oversight of junior staff, as well as providing mentoring and training.
- Lead on advisory and planning work, adding value for clients.
- Build and maintain client relationships, acting as a key liaison with the firm’s directors.
- Contribute to the company’s growth and career progression within a supportive environment.
Qualifications:
- Qualified as AAT, ATT, ACA, ACCA or equivalent; or have developed the career through experience only.
- Experience in general accountancy practice service delivery to sole traders, partnerships and limited company clients.
- Previous experience at Senior Accountant / Client Manager level or equivalent.
Compensation & Benefits: Salary range: £36,000 – £42,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus benefits; negotiable.
