This interim position focuses on managing balance sheet reconciliations, month-end close, and supporting year-end statutory audit processes. You'll work closely with the finance team and use SAP to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
Client Details: A leading international organization, with a strong presence in the UK and part of a major global group. The UK business is a substantial operation with multiple business streams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy across all accounts.
- Oversee month-end reporting and support year-end statutory audit processes.
- Assist with group legal reporting packages and liaise with auditors.
- Work with SAP systems and monitor processes managed by the Shared Service Centre.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong financial accounting experience.
- Strong technical accounting skills and ability to work independently.
- Experience in audit support and balance sheet management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Job Offer:
- Daily rate, circa £400 - £500 a day
