A superb EMEA Finance Director position has arisen in an instantly recognisable Consumer brand near Staines. Michael Page Finance are delighted to be exclusively partnering a leading Consumer Goods brand based near Staines. Established in the 1980s, the group turnover is approximately £200m and they are a leading consumer products business. The business has key partnerships as well as selling products via concessions and travel retail, focusing on manufacturing high quality, innovative and sustainable products across their portfolio. Reporting to the CFO, the Finance Director will lead the EMEA Region.
The EMEA Finance Director will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing the EMEA Financial Strategy
- Leading, developing and mentoring the finance department (circa 14 FTE)
- Providing financial leadership and value add
- Leading the budget and forecast process
- Financial reporting, KPI development and analysis
- Statutory reporting under UKGAAP, USGAAP and IFRS
- Managing 3rd party relationships
- Ensuring SOX compliance - internal and external audit
- Managing working capital (driving improvements)
- Being a key business partner to commercial teams supporting decision making and pricing
- Strategic projects
The EMEA Finance Director will be ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and multi-country compliance requirements. They should have a proven track record in FP&A, strategic planning, and business partnering, along with experience in SOX compliance and internal controls within a US-based multinational environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, as is the ability to lead in a matrix organisation and manage complexity across multiple geographies.
Competitive salary ranging from £100,000 to £120,000 per annum, £6,000 car allowance, discretionary performance related bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.
