What You’ll Be Doing
As a Business Tax Senior, you’ll support the delivery of high‑quality compliance and advisory work across a varied client portfolio and contribute to the wider growth and development of the tax team.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns.
- Assisting with P11Ds, PSAs, ATED, ERS, and EMI reporting.
- Working on advisory projects including capital allowances reviews, succession planning, profit extraction strategies, and employee incentivisation.
- Identifying wider tax planning opportunities and collaborating with specialists across the firm.
- Building relationships with clients and managing day‑to‑day communications.
- Supporting junior team members through coaching, review, and knowledge‑sharing.
- Collaborating across offices and service lines to ensure joined‑up, value‑driven delivery.
What We Are Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is technically strong, commercially aware, and excited by the opportunity to make a difference as part of a close‑knit, ambitious team.
You’ll Ideally Have:
- ACA / ACCA qualified and/or ATT or CTA qualified (or close to completion).
- Solid experience in UK corporate tax compliance.
- Some experience of working on advisory or project‑based assignments.
- Ability to interpret financial accounts and understand broader tax implications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a client‑focused mindset.
- Working knowledge of Alphatax (preferred, but not essential).
- A proactive, self‑managing approach with good organisational skills.
- A collaborative, team‑oriented mindset and confidence in mentoring junior staff.
