Multiple Corporate Tax Associates are needed to work within a newly established Corporate Tax office for a Top-30 Accountancy firm. The ideal candidates should be experienced in managing elements of a portfolio and hold an associate-level position or equivalent.
Our client is a well-established accountancy firm with a specialism in Tax, with 5 sites across the M4/M5 corridor and a reputation for outstanding internal progression - with over half of the partnership team joining at the junior level. They have a strong presence across the UK and are renowned for their commitment to delivering exceptional client service. Due to their continued success they are offering several Corporate Tax opportunities in their new Cardiff office.
Description
- Build and maintain tax relationships with clients including owner-managed SMEs and medium sized groups.
- Work with Corporate Finance colleagues to provide tax input into due diligence projects.
- Work with managers on advisory projects and transaction support.
- Develop own and colleagues' professional abilities.
- Provide an exceptional level of client service.
- Prepare and review computations and liaise with specialists on technical matters.
- Manage client's corporate tax affairs including payments, enquiries and providing ad hoc advice.
- Support colleagues dealing with complex groups and technical issues.
Profile
- An ATT/ACA/ACCA Qualification.
- Part-Qualified or Qualified CTA.
- Proven experience in an associate role or equivalent within a tax department (Mixed Tax or Corporation Tax).
- Comprehensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations, i.e. payroll taxes & SDLT.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using tax software and digital tools.
