Joining the TTC London team will give you access to senior leadership across the myriad of industries and markets within the UK, across our North-South Europe region and internationally. This would be a perfect opportunity for a newly-qualified corporate tax advisor with corporate income tax advisory, compliance and/or accounting experience and an interest in the wider TTC areas.

You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of industry, tax SMEs and technology specialists to provide specialist tax accounting expertise and support on a diverse range of projects. You will also play an important role in advising clients across the globe to rethink their accounting and tax provisioning processes to factor in Pillar Two. We encourage and support exploration and working within the many other disciplines which TTC offers.

By joining our team, you will also become part of the UK section of our Global Tax Accounting Group. This team is focused on building tax accounting as a high growth market opportunity on a global basis and we have support from the senior leaders within the UK Tax practice to invest in this space. We are looking to expand this team with highly motivated people that are seeking new opportunities and ways of leveraging their skillsets to be part of an exciting strategic priority for TTC London.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Preparing, coordinating and reviewing key income tax accounting judgments, Pillar 2 assessments, significant tax estimates, technical tax accounting conclusions, and tax disclosures using a variety of technology solutions.
  • Developing and utilising a working knowledge of multiple GAAPs from a tax perspective (FRS 102, IFRS & US GAAP).
  • Tax accounting advisory projects such as acquisition accounting, technology and process improvements.
  • Implementations of tax reporting technology solutions for clients which will include working on bespoke excel models, third party software tools and being part of wider tax transformation projects such as the implementation of new ERP platforms including S/4 Hana.
  • Managing diverse teams with an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.
  • Managing and running internal and external tax accounting training.
  • Developing close working relationships with clients and targets alike and to introduce different areas of TTC to them through the platform of a tax accounting relationship.
  • Working on go to market activities including targeting clients and responding to RFPs.

Connect to your skills and professional experience:

  • Excellent communication skills - able to explain complex ideas and techniques to non-experts.
  • A background in corporate tax compliance and/or advisory services.
  • Experience of delivering corporate tax accounting services to entities located in the UK and overseas under IFRS, FRS 101/102, or US GAAP is preferred or a willingness to learn this if not.
  • A personal interest in being part of the technology enabled tax function of the future and willingness to learn the skills required to manage tax accounting technology projects.
  • Able to define, plan, manage and execute a project.
  • An ability to manage multiple work streams at the same time.
  • Flexibility to be able to learn new software and techniques quickly on the job and invest time in getting up to speed with the tax technology market.
  • A hunger for understanding the technical complexities associated with corporate tax accounting and an interest in staying up to date with the latest industry trends and market drivers.
  • Ability to develop close working relationships with clients and targets alike and to introduce different areas of tax to them.
