Are you a Qualified Accountant looking for a step into a growing organisation with fantastic brand presence? My client has created a new role as Management Accountant to help with their growth and to develop a Business Partnering approach to finance.
Responsibilities
- Managing a range of areas within the business
- Preparing monthly Management Accounts and producing high level reports
- Acting as the Finance Business Partner for Operations Directors in the Business
- Preparing accurate and timely financial reports and statements
- Monitoring and reconciling balance sheets and general ledger accounts
- Conducting variance analysis and providing meaningful financial insights
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Collaborating with internal teams to support financial decision‑making
- Managing and processing month‑end and year‑end closing activities
- Developing reports using Power Bi
Profile
- Professional accountancy qualifications with ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- The ability to work effectively in a hybrid working environment
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
Job Offer
- Temp to perm position
- Perm Salary c£50,000 – £55,000 (circa £220 – £240 per day PAYE)
- Hybrid working – 3 days a week in the office
- 4% company bonus scheme paid quarterly based on company and personal performance
- 33 days annual leave including bank holidays
- NEST scheme – 5% Employee, 3% Employer
- Opportunity to work within a fast growing business who are PE backed in Cardiff
