Join Deloitte’s Treasury Advisory team, part of the Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory practice, where we provide independent advice and world‑class execution across debt, capital and treasury. Working with Corporate Treasury and Private Equity teams, you will tackle complex financial and operational challenges in a uniquely advisory role.
Responsibilities
- Assist with corporate finance transaction‑related advice, including preparation of due diligence reports, management presentations, working capital reports, and communication with private equity and corporate clients.
- Research industries and companies for deal origination and transaction analysis.
- Advise and assist companies on operational implementation of projects such as cash management solutions and treasury transformation projects.
- Contribute to marketing and business development opportunities internally and externally, building and developing our network of relationships.
- Support senior team members in identifying opportunities and preparing client proposals.
- Collaborate effectively in a diverse and inclusive team where contributions are recognised.
Skills and Professional Experience
Essentials
- Qualified (or training towards) accountant (ACA or equivalent) or other relevant professional qualification or degree such as CFA, AMCT, Master in Finance with a solid understanding of accounting principles as they relate to Treasury.
- Corporate Treasury experience ideally within a large corporate Treasury department or in a consulting firm.
- Excellent numeracy skills with highly focused attention to detail and ability to absorb and analyse large data sets quickly.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional client service, with ability to establish effective working relationships across the firm.
- Fluency in oral and written English.
- Critical mindset, with a natural desire to ask probing questions and uncover underlying challenges.
- Open mindset to undertake a wide range of work as required to support a growing and busy team.
- Desire to work in an advisory environment and build a career in professional services.
