AI Assistant Consultant - Tax Technology & Innovation

Base Location: Canary Wharf, London (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office)

The KPMG Tax Technology & Innovation (T&I) team consists of Technology Consultants, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Data Architects & Engineers, multidisciplinary engineering teams and IT Service delivery professionals working on a large portfolio of systems used to improve productivity and solve key business problems across Tax & Legal. This business has 2500+ tax & legal professionals covering multiple disciplines. What will you be doing?

As an AI Assistant Consultant in Tax Technology you will play a key role in supporting project delivery, engaging with clients, and promoting technology adoption within the team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for technology and innovation to develop their skills and make a meaningful impact in the tax industry.

In This Role You Will:

• Assist in the delivery of tax technology projects, particularly those involving AI and automation.
• Coordinate with business analysts, developers, and client teams to ensure project milestones are met.
• Support the preparation of project documentation, status reports, and presentations.
• Participate in client meetings and workshops to understand their needs and contribute to solution design.
• Assist in the implementation and rollout of new technology solutions for clients.
• Provide training and support to clients as they adopt new tools and processes.
• Help promote the use of AI and innovative technologies within the tax team.

What will you need to do it?

• Experience supporting internal and external client technology implementation projects.
• Demonstrable interest in AI and emerging technologies.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Analytical mindset and a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.

Skills We’d Love To See / Amazing Extras:

• Whilst tax experience is not essential an accounting or tax qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or CTA or equivalent would be beneficial.
• Experience contributing to the end‑to‑end sales of technology solutions.
