Overview

A successful firm of chartered accountants based in Bideford is searching for an Accounts Senior / Senior Accountant to join their team in a role with increasing responsibility and opportunity to develop into a more managerial, review capacity, progressing in your career and carving an influential position, as a key addition to this growing firm.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake a hands-on role with increasing responsibility, helping manage juniors, reviewing and checking work, and delivering year end accounts and tax alongside wider services.
  • Prepare and review accounts production for wide-ranging clients including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, with a significant focus on limited companies.
  • Provide general taxation work across personal and corporate tax, VAT returns and bookkeeping advice to clients.
  • Develop client relationships and progress within the firm, contributing to a team-focused and supportive culture with long-serving staff.

Profile / Qualifications

  • Open to individuals across a range of levels; role can be moulded accordingly.
  • ACCA/ACA part or full qualification, or qualified as an experienced Senior Accountant in the accountancy practice sector.
  • Alternatively, may be AAT qualified with career experience of three to four years or more in accountancy practice.
  • Background in preparing accounts and tax and wider services for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
  • Interest in progression within a highly successful firm offering a path to develop; hybrid working with a mix of office and home working; full study packages available.

Job Offer
