Overview

RSM is a global firm delivering advisory services in the middle market. The consulting team focuses on business transformation, forensic, deal services, restructuring, finance function support, and risk and governance. We are expanding and seeking an Associate Director to strengthen the Manchester finance function support team, with a focus on developing new client relationships and coaching teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support the director in executing the office and regional strategy, including winning new work and growing the team
  • Focus on business development, collaborate with the Partner Group on business plans, and participate in targeting and lead generation
  • Lead the delivery of accounting and financial reporting services for a portfolio of clients, coordinating with other service lines and reporting to Client Relationship Partners on advisory and client care matters
  • Manage project working capital, including budgeting, cost management, billing, and debt recoverability
  • Plan resources, brief team members, and coach/develop teams to deliver a premium client experience

What We Are Looking For

  • Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
  • Industry or commercial finance experience is welcomed
  • Business development experience
  • Experience managing a portfolio of client work within a professional practice
  • Experience as a Line Manager with advanced coaching and development skills
  • Proven ability to quickly build rapport with client principals and colleagues
