To support our growth and accelerate the development of our ACMI business, we are looking for experienced ACMI professionals, motivated to play an active role in our busy ACMI team based in the UK. Purpose of the Job: This is a broking role within the ACMI leasing team reporting directly to the Director of Leasing working on short and long-term ACMI enquiries, fixtures and business development.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a broker on ACMI short and long-term enquiries maintaining high levels of broking activities to find the best solution to meet the client’s needs and managing client and supplier airline relationships.
  • Marketing and business development to existing and new prospect customers by telephone, e-marketing and in person in line with the ACMI strategy and business development plan.
  • Negotiate and maximise potential margins on all enquiries.
  • Anticipating and outmanoeuvring rivals in a competitive broking environment.
  • Delivering a first-class customer service to ensure that all flights meet the clients’ requirements and deadlines.
  • Updating and maintaining the CRM database ensuring that the database is up to date with activity and information.
  • ACMI project management of new and existing contracts.
  • To be a member of the duty rota system, maintaining a 24hr a day service, 7 days a week.
  • To be able to respond and react to short term ACMI enquiries within a timely manner and follow the process through to fixture within Netsuite system including enquiry, trawling, contracting and invoicing.
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of the aviation industry including awareness of current commercial, economic, regulatory and other developments likely to impact on the aviation sector.
  • Produce contracts, invoicing and paperwork related to Long Term ACMI contracts within Netsuite system applicable to your work and support the rest of your team when required.
  • Flexible to work with different time zones worldwide outside of office hours as required.
  • To gain an understanding of all ACC Aviation Group products including Consulting and Charter in order to be able to present full service offering to airline customers and suppliers to refer leads to relevant ACC departments.

  • Ensure accurate and up to date data and activities are maintained on the relevant company systems.
  • Represent the Company in a highly professional and competent manner and exercising a reasonable commercial judgement.
  • Maintain strict company and client confidentiality at all times.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

  • 2 years+ ACMI broking, commercial airline or related aviation sales experience.
  • Solid understanding of the ACMI leasing industry and potential airline prospects worldwide.
  • A target driven individual, motivated to ‘Win’ business.
  • Superior time management skills to ensure rigorous deadlines are met.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit & the ability to work in a highly flexible, rapidly changing, ambiguous work environment.
  • Commercial awareness, personal gravitas and credibility.
  • Customer focused with first rate people skills.
  • Good written and communication skills.
  • Excellent IT skills with a knowledge of Microsoft Word including presentation of sales documentation, MS Excel, and Outlook and the ability to learn and develop the functionality of a new system.
  • Able to prioritise work, while having a flexible approach within a team environment.
  • Precise and accurate data entry, with an attention to detail.
  • Smart/professional appearance.
  • A motivated and proactive approach to work.
