About The Role

This role sits within the UK Sales Planning Team and is essential to making sure that our advertising campaigns are accurate and deliverable. Sales Planning is an integral part of the Acast commercial team and a first step into a more sales‑centric career at Acast.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Media Plan Compilation: A core part of this role is compiling media plans to indicate the podcasts, the formats and scale of the campaign that the advertiser can expect for their budget.
  • Podcaster Relationship Management: You will be liaising with some of the UK’s largest Podcast teams to understand the talent’s affinity for working with brands, as well as their recording and release schedules.
  • Client Relationship Management: You will also be liaising with agency and brand clients, offering the highest levels of customer service at all times.
  • Internal Relationship Management: Each member of the Planning team will work in tandem with another seller but will also work with other teams across Acast from the Creative and Insights teams before a campaign books to the Campaign Management and Brand Partnerships teams after booking.
  • Campaign Booking & Set Up: Utilising Acast’s own systems the successful candidate will be responsible for booking the campaign in line with approved contracts and available inventory as well as ensuring that the correct adverts are targeted to the correct podcasts.
  • Campaign Delivery & Reporting: For ad campaigns, once the campaign is live you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management and reporting on campaign performance, liaising with clients to ensure the campaign delivers in full.
  • Participation in Creative Ideation Sessions: Where relevant, you will also have the opportunity to be involved in creative ideation sessions to bring a brand’s campaign messaging to life through branded content created by our Podcasters.

Who You Are

You are a self‑motivated, proactive, creative, desire to learn person who enjoys working as part of a team. You have the ability to prioritise effectively with consistently high attention to detail. We think you are driven and passionate and great at Excel/ Gsheets. You are highly organised being able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills while retaining a cool head under time pressures.
