About the Role:
Our client is seeking a driven and dynamic Business Development Executive to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will take ownership of a portfolio of key accounts and buying groups, nurturing and developing these partnerships to maximise performance and long-term value. A key part of the role will be to identify and develop new business opportunities, expanding their customer base and increasing market share through proactive prospecting and strategic planning.
You will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, increasing market presence, and ensuring their customers receive exceptional service and support. You will confidently represent the business at customer meetings, trade exhibitions, supplier open days, and customer events, delivering engaging presentations and building meaningful industry connections. The position will require some travel and overnight stays. Flexibility, strong organisational skills, and a willingness to be on the road are essential.
