We are looking for a Staffing Coordinator to join our team at Haverhill Pavilion Behavioral Health Hospital. We are a leading New England behavioral health facility that provides comprehensive mental health services for adults over the age of 19 in the Haverhill, MA, area. Haverhill Pavilion offers acute residential services to help our patients stabilize when they are suffering from symptoms of mental illness. At Haverhill Pavilion, we provide patient‑focused, interdisciplinary behavioral healthcare, including a specialized geriatric unit for adults over the age of 50. Each patient is treated with dignity and respect and is afforded the highest level of care possible. Organize and prepare work schedules according to nursing guidelines based on census and patient acuity for all nursing units and programs. Job duties include:
- Monitor census, staffing, scheduled admissions and discharges (minimum twice daily) to ensure the appropriate amount of staff is available for each work shift.
- Prepare monthly staffing schedule and communicate issues to appropriate staff.
- Amend staffing schedule as requested and/or necessary to provide quality patient care.
- Responsible for finding coverage for all nursing time‑off requests and call‑outs.
- Responsible for tracking absenteeism as assigned.
- Coordinate staffing for program transports, as needed.
- Works with Staffing Agencies to coordinate staffing of agency nurses.
- Maintains tracking of the use of Interpreter Services utilized within the hospital.
- Works under Director of Nursing in maintaining position control of staffing and reporting of available open positions.
Previous Smartforce/Shifthound experience strongly preferred. Previous scheduling experience necessary.
Pay Range: $19 - $22/hour Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm
