A leading R&D-driven engineering company specialising in advanced engineering technologies and high-performance manufacturing in Zhejiang Province, China is seeking outstanding Postdoctoral Researchers to join its advanced R&D team working on next-generation aerospace systems and technologies.

This is an opportunity to contribute to applied research programmes spanning aerospace fluid systems, advanced materials, manufacturing technologies and high-performance mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

Candidates must be capable of leading independent R&D activities in at least one of the following areas. Successful candidates will have demonstrated experience conducting high-quality research, publishing scientific work, securing research funding, generating intellectual property, and leading technical programmes or multidisciplinary teams.

Applicants must have expertise in at least one of the following areas:

  • Aerospace piping and conduit system design and development
  • High-pressure and specialised fluid media valves, fittings and conduits
  • Fluid control systems and hydraulic equipment for aerospace applications
  • Valve sealing technologies, valve design and fluid dynamics
  • Aerospace component manufacturing technologies and processes
  • Functional materials and advanced metallic materials
  • Metal additive manufacturing and advanced manufacturing technologies

Qualifications

PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Aerospace Engineering, Process Equipment Engineering or a closely related discipline.

Required Skills

  • Strong independent research capability with the ability to drive technical innovation
  • Track record of high-quality publications, patents or major research projects
  • Ability to tackle complex scientific and engineering challenges
  • Excellent teamwork, communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
  • Native in Mandarin

Preferred Skills

Experience leading technical projects or supervising research activities would be advantageous.
