We are recruiting at Westbourne Academy for a Teacher of Drama (Maternity Cover) required from 01 September 2026. This is a part-time position (0.6FTE), with full-time hours available if you are willing to also teach English or Art. The role is maternity cover, fixed term for 12 months. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Drama who can ensure pupils receive an excellent education through the delivery of high-quality teaching. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious professional with the ability to teach Drama to KS4.
You will be joining a dynamic and exciting team, creating a culture of outstanding success amongst our students. The successful candidate will have a commitment to continued professional development and will be a dynamic and forward-thinking individual, with a real drive to enhance students’ experience of humanities in the classroom.
