Overview
Kingsmoor Academy is looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Fixed-Term Teaching Assistant on a 12-month contract. We welcome applications from outstanding individuals to join our engaging primary academy.
Contract and location
Contract Type: Fixed-Term 12-month contract
Hours: 33.5 hours per week / 39 weeks per year
Scale: NJC 2-4
Actual Salary: £18,422 – £19,004 / FTE: £24,362 – £25,110

We are looking for a positive and committed individual who has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, has a pro-active approach and the ability to work independently, as well as the ability to relate well to visitors, staff, and students. Qualifications
- Experience of working with young people and children, understanding child development and the ways in which children learn
- Experience in assisting children on an individual basis, in small groups and whole class work
- Positive and committed, with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills; pro-active and able to work independently; able to relate well to visitors, staff and students
- Ambitious candidates with a genuine passion and belief in the potential of every student
